Included in your annual coverage
We will cover you if a wheel or tires on the insured vehicle are damaged due to road hazards such as potholes, debris on the road surface and other unevenness that poses a threat to your wheels and tires.
If the tire damage can be safely repaired, we will have it fixed.
If the tire cannot be repaired, we will pay for the replacement.
Coverage includes up to two incidents per year.

Co-payments and Important Time Limits
Excess payments
- A percentage of the claim costs is charged, with a minimum of R300.
- An additional excess payment applies if a claim is submitted within the first 90 days from the commencement date and the tyre tread is less than 3mm.
Important time limits
- When you become aware of an incident that may lead to a claim, or receive any documents relating to the claim, you must inform us within 30 days of the incident and provide full details.
